I've been making so much stuff and yet haven't had time or gotten photos... Sorry that it looks like I forgot about you little "stuff" blog!

Bridesmaid Dresses by Me!

The Photographer Jill Thomas sure did make this wedding look like a dream come true! What a great eye and photo techniques.

Now to survive 7 more weeks of intensive summer school so I can actually make more pretty dresses!

another dress from back in the day

so i used to live with a very talented seamstress a few years back in another time zone. she was interning with a local designer and working on finishing his collection. they were short on time and so she asked me to help out with a few things. So I did, like belts loops etc, and then they passed this dress on to me to spruce it up. it had a straight plain front. So I pinned and tucked and hand sewed and made this little jumper dress turn into this. Kind of cute, no?!

It was in the local magazine and now is in the designers portfolio. This wasn't my design but I did do those embellishments and it was really fun to finish and see completed in a magazine for everyone to see!

Bird Day Celebration

I took a ton of photos at this little ladie's birthday party. Honestly, It was super fun! If only to be 5 again and to have those simple worries and to surrounded by love all the time! She has two of the sweetest parents too who did the most amazing job of keeping all these kiddos entertained and moving for 2 hours straight!
ps...i put those little mobile together with Aubs help, and i made her little apron, but i'm sure you figured that out on your own.

More Birdsss

This Apron is a birthday present for my friend's little girl, she LOVES birds. side note, I made this about an inch or more shorter and it looks even better. I should take another photo but I'm lazy. maybe later.

and these are just a bunch of cute birds I made from mostly left over fabrics.
